Full Description

Describes procedures suitable for taking samples from coal seams in underground and open-cut mines by pillar sampling, channel sampling, strip sampling, bore core sampling, drill cuttings sampling and open-cut slot sampling. Does not apply to sampling from production moving streams or any other source of coal not in place. An example of a form for recording sampling data is provided in an appendix. See more
